 Diane C. Gaa is the author of Leader Lessons – From Invisible to Impactful, a guide for leaders who want to move beyond the sidelines and step into their full influence. Through candid stories and actionable strategies, she shows how everyday managers can become trusted leaders who create lasting impact. 

I’ve spent my career helping leaders and teams grow, but the truth is, most of my lessons came from my own stumbles and struggles. I know what it feels like to fail, to question yourself, and to wonder if you’re really cut out to lead—and I also know the power of getting back up and trying again.

That’s why I wrote Leader Lessons. It’s part memoir, part guidebook—filled with real stories, reflections, and practical insights on what it takes to lead with honesty, resilience, and heart. My goal is to show that leadership isn’t about being perfect; it’s about being human, learning as you go, and empowering others to do the same.

Beyond writing and coaching, I volunteer in my community and find joy in singing with my church choir and spending time with my family.  These keep me grounded, connected, and reminded of the importance of serving and lifting others up. Most of all, I stand for authenticity, trust, and creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and able to thrive.
